Part 1:

It is a pleasure to review SERVPRO of Paradise Valley! We sincerely thank Josh and the SERVPRO PV team for the great work they did for us after a fire sprinkler pipe failure resulted in significant flooding and damage to our daughter’s condo this summer.

We first contacted SERVPRO to deal with the immediate problem of the 3-4 inches of flooding throughout the unit. Josh, Matt and other members of the team immediately responded, installing equipment (fans, dehumidifiers, etc.) and taking other remediation actions. They were available any time we called, including early mornings and evenings. They checked in with us daily and worked closely with the homeowner’s insurance company. I could not have been more satisfied and appreciative of the high level of communication and responsiveness throughout this difficult time.

Part 2:

Because of the terrific job SERVPRO PV did with the flooding remediation, we asked Josh to assume responsibility for moving furniture and other personal property from the unit to a local storage unit, which his team did in a very timely and careful manner. The items were very well wrapped or boxed. When SERVPRO PV later delivered the items back, items were safe and sound.

Again because of our high level of satisfaction, we hired SERVPRO PV to take on the reconstruction project, which was substantial. Importantly, SERVPRO PV’s construction manager identified quite a bit of damage that the insurance company’s adjuster had missed. SERVPRO PV worked directly with the insurance company to get the necessary approvals to do the job fully and correctly, which took a lot of stress off of us.

Through no fault of SERVPRO’s, it took more time than anticipated to get the job started, because we had to wait on the City to approve the new fire sprinkler pipe plans and for the new pipes to be installed (by another company). There were some unforeseen issues (e.g. wood flooring that had been improperly glued down by the prior owner) that put the SERVPRO team behind schedule a bit. However, Josh and the construction manager kept us informed. When needed, they worked evenings and weekends to get the job done. In addition, they went above and beyond and made improvements to the unit that they were not obligated to do. For example, they installed executive height cabinets in the bathrooms (where the originals were at a lower height).

In sum, we were very happy with SERVPRO PV. Josh demonstrated a high level of integrity, was always polite and caring, and he repeatedly checked in with us to make sure we were completely satisfied. We have gladly recommended SERVPRO PV to others.

We had a surprise hot water leak and needed an evaluation for dry wall damage. SERVPRO came out within 45 mins and gave me an honest opinion of the extent of our damage which ended up being fairly minor compared to the outrageous estimate another company was going to charge us. A few weeks ago I had my air ducts cleaned and was told we had mold in our air handler. Realizing how serious this was for my family and I, immediately made an appointment to have my house tested. Sure enough we find out we not only have mold but black mold which is highly toxic. The mold test company referred me to SERVPRO and be me in connection with Josh Alcorn. Josh went above and beyond my expectations! He answered all my questions and gave me peace of mind that him and his team would assist us in anyway possible. After we had our air handler replaced by an HVAC company, Josh sent his team out to complete the cleaning process. Tyler and the other gentleman who came were all very professional and friendly. They took the time to walk around the house with me as I shared my concerns and what all I wanted done. They spent several hours here vacuuming the walls with HEPA vacuum and even our mattresses as well as fogged our rooms with antimicrobial solution to clear our air from any harm for mold spores. Had a sewage leak from a toilet in the neighbor's unit upstairs, resulting in drywall damage and an awful smell!  Josh, the owner, came out the same day and gave me an estimate for clean-up and tear-out that was 1/3 of the first estimate I had received from a competitor.  The work was done professionally and promptly, and Josh put me in touch with a contractor who replaced the drywall, textured, and painted promptly.  This company takes it's cue from the owner, and is very focused on customer service.  I highly recommend them.

Sprinkler pipe broke in the attic, caught it in time but still had about 15-20 gallons of water in attic/ceiling/wall space.

Incident happened at 7:30 pm on a Thursday night. Initial SERVPRO crew of 2 men were at the house within 1.5 hours after placing the service call, so very pleased with the response. Initial crew assessed situation and very quickly went into attic space, removed, and bagged all wet insulation. Crew then measured for moisture in walls, even in the not-so-obvious places, and strategically set up fans and a dehumidifier to begin the drying process.
Crew returned the following day at the time of scheduled appointment to re-assess progress, move fans, and make adjustments.
On the third day, Nathan (crew chief) checked further progress, made additional recommendations, explained the whys and hows to his method of making sure all wall space you can't see will be dried using his suggestions, and quickly made the adjustments (he was so thorough, I believe he could have been a detective in a past life, a great trait to have in this business). Nathan was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the process.
All through the entire process, Joshua (owner) was very accessible and did a wonderful job of scheduling his crew, and working around our schedule. While I hope to never have to use this team again, it's great to know who I can call on when I have an emergency such as this again. Thank you guys!

What can I say? I was in a bit of a panic when I called SERVPRO of PV after learning about (from test results) the poor job another company had just done on a category 3 situation at our house (sewage backup). We have some health issues that could be exasperated by mold and bacteria, which made me even more concerned. I happened upon SERVPRO of PV, calling there on the weekend. The owner Josh answered and was extremely helpful, honest and responsive. He spent SO MUCH time speaking to me over the next several days helping me figure out how to handle the situation. The focus on getting the old company (that had already been paid) to do the job correctly. He wasn't making a dime off of me. When things went even further south with the other company, Josh worked hard to get us on the schedule. His crew was very respectful and responsive to our concerns and did a great job! WOW what a great Company Service is number one I have dealt with lots of various Company's in my line of work and SERVPRO is by far the best! If you're in need of cleanup and/or restoration services I highly recommend Josh and his team at SERVPRO.  Customer service, professionalism, friendliness and patience with an extremely panicked customer with overflowing sewage...doesn't get any better than Josh!  Thank you for all your hard work, coming late in the afternoon in my immediate time of need and explaining each step along the way! AND for putting up with my house full of yapping Chihuahuas!
