Where are the Arizona Monsoons?

Can you believe it is already July 8th and there still hasn't been a monsoon? Do you know why there has not been a monsoon yet? It is understandable if you do not know the reasoning behind a monsoon as it is not often talked about. So how is it truly decided when monsoon season "starts?" When 3 consecutive days reach a dew point of 55 degrees or higher. This is the main reason why we have not had a monsoon this year.

There are also two different types of monsoons, wet and dry. "Dry monsoons" occur during the months of April, May, and June. While "wet monsoons" occur during the months of July, August and September. What is the difference between the two? During the dry monsoon months we receive about 6% of our yearly rainfall. Wet monsoon months usually bring around 32% of our yearly rainfall.
