Save the Fishies

Owning a fish can be relaxing, enjoyable, and entertaining (depending on what fish you have and if you have cats who try to get to the fish). What is not relaxing about it is when your tank begins to leak! What is even worse, not knowing your tank is leaking! We recently had a call about someone discovering their tank had been leaking and they requested that we come have a look of the extent. It ended up being something they could handle on their own as there were no signs of mold/carpet was simply damped not soaked. I personally have a fish tank with many different fish and I am actively checking for leaks. Checking it often is mainly since I bought my tank used. I have no idea how it was taken care of prior to owning it. Be sure to check your fish tank often for even the tiniest of leaks. You do not want to put your fish at harm, turtles, or your living space.
