Toilet Disaster

6/5/2017 (Permalink)

Broken toilet lines are easily our most common water loss source. The picture shown shows how much water can spew out of the line even with the tiniest of cracks. This picture was taken only 45 minutes after it happened but you can still see about a centimeter of water on the tile. That was even after it traveled everywhere it could in the house. In this case the water had traveled to every room except the kitchen because the kitchen was higher up compared to the other rooms. After we took necessary photos of the damage and the source we got to work extracting the water. Once we were done with that we set up fans and a dehumidifier to help prevent mold growth. Be sure to check your toilet supply line consistently especially if it hasn’t been replaced for a number of years.
